Ademco wired pannel w/X10 wireless?
« on: February 08, 2009, 08:47:45 AM »

I have the old x10 alarm and wanted to go with a wired pannel and keypad. Will the x10 door/window sensors @ 310Mhz, work with the ademco P20's wireless reciver at 345Mhz? If not can the reciver in the wired pannal be be modified (change frequency) to match the x 10 sensors.

NO, The Ademco would have to receive the 310 MHz signal AND understand X10 coding.

However you might be able to get the old X10 system to trigger one of the Ademco alarm inputs. i.e when the X10 alarm goes off and sends code to external siren, or lamp, use a Universal Module set to same HCUC and wire it to one of the Ademco alarm panel Normally Open contacts.
