What will cause AHP to all of the sudden NOT load?
When I try to open AHP I get a warning window saying an error had occurred and windows will now shut the program down....

UPDATE:

Went in and done a FORUM SEARCH and found a reply from BaBalou and a cause of crashes, he said a lot of crashes are caused with Macro Changes and Timers. And I had just got done doing a Macro and Timer  before the crash.... So I pulled a saved copy of AHP (To bad it wasn't a more recent one) and it opened right up. So I guess something in the timers or Macros caused a conflict???
So now I need to update everything from this older saved copy and hope to not make the same mistake again. Also I have learned to BACK UP everytime I make changes (just in case)

Do you have a backup copy of your stuff?  Mine did this to.  I replaced the "myhome.ahx" file with my backup and it worked again.  That file contains all ur setup.

There as been a few that have mention this. Might be another great AHP hick up. I did the same and seem to help mine from shutting down so far.

Also I have learned to BACK UP everytime I make changes (just in case)

Every time I change my AHP setup I save a new AHX file by year month day [2009feb26] if I change more than once in the same day I add a B, C, D... behind the date. I keep a flashdrive hanging beside my HA PC and save the changes... and I make copies to other PC's as well as my backup external HD from time-to-time.

I know this could sound excessive... but it's a lot less work to save this stuff a 1000 times.. than recreate everything just once.

Mine crashed yest when i was doing timers, then wouldn't open back up with erroring.   Replaced that file and was up and running again.
