I believe the board is screened VSS for the common ground.
I have the exact mod data home as I saved the accessha construction projects pages.
I have also done a few of the CM15As myself.

Thank you for the reply!

Can you help with a pic or two?

I have been taking this in small steps (new to AHP) and of course discovered the sensors won't reach the CM15a in the house. I own it now!!
First the added wire gained alittle, then the TM751 Antenna got a tickle more. Seems I will have to go the full .....to get'r done.

Otherwise good so far. I think I'm getting the hang of Macros etc. It has it's moments.

The mod on shed.com used a common connection near the RF Receiver Module.
accessha used the open VSS hole. Both are the same electrically.
Accessha still has a copyright message on its pages. So to be safe I can not post any of it.
Yes accessha is gone. Even its domain name is now available from a few domain holding sites.  :(  ???

Seems to be working!!!

After the CM15A Mod, home built Antenna and a minor $$ lesson in Coax Cable (RG58) and related connectors.

(Rat Shack-I won't do that again)

Found darn near one-stop shopping at a outfit in Ohio for supplies. Mail Order for me (West Coast) but I like the prices I see.

Now on to find out why the Macros hiccups and won't run consistently. ???

MECI or Parts Express perhaps?

PS Rat Shack, is also fondly known as "Radio Shark".

OK I'll confess...

My impatience cost. Not completely thinking it through, Radio Shark RG58 Cable with PL-259 ends. Ooops. How does one connect that to F- Connector at the CM15a? Homemade Antenna with SO-239 was fine. $11 dollars worth of adapter to the adapter to adapter later......it's working.

Came across this during a search (after the fact of course) (1) $3 Adapter

http://www.universal-radio.com/catalog/index2.html

Heard of them? I'm considering a small order for kicks. Think I wanna build another Antenna or two. I enjoy learning, building, modifying.

I have used Parts Express in the past for certain things.

PS  Cigarettes and Coffee DO NOT make for a steady hand when soldering is required!

In addition if you have a cigarette in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other, you don't have any free hands left for soldering.  ;)
