EagleEye turns on RR501 but not LM465
« on: February 17, 2009, 03:48:22 PM »

Thanks in advance for your help in what should be a simple install...

EagleEye MS14A
Transceiver RR501
Lamp Module LM465
Computer Interface CM11A

All set to A1 as per the EagleEye Instructions

I simply want the light connected to the LM465 to turn on when motion detected.  Note this is a test setup.  All devices on same circuit.  I have been using X10 for years, but this is first time use of EagleEye.

Can control both RR501 and LM465 via ActiveHome software and Computer Interface module.

Situation, when motion is detected, Transceiver Module RR501 turns on OK then turns off after time limit.  Lamp Module LM465 never turns on.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Try it with RR501 and LM465 plugged into same outlet at same time. If LM465 still does not work I would suspect a bad RR501 (PLC portion of the RR501 that couples X10 signal to the power lines).

It is not likely to be the MS14A since it turns OFF the RR501 correctly.

You Rock!  I replaced the RR501 with a TM751 and now it works as expected.  Thanks so much...
