I used the XPCR X10 PRO Signal Amplifier Coupler Repeater

I still cant get the signals from the motion sensors at the front of the house to the CM15A, so I think Im gunna have to get a RF Repeater....

Before you get rid of it you might want to try it with a cat 5 or 6 network cable 25-50 Ft. and locate your CM15A more centrally in your home. You may then be able to pick up all your modules without an RF AMP. If you decide you don't need it let me know.

Till Later,

How did the transceiver solution work out? Do you have details? I have the same issue. my USB interface (CM15A) even with a new antenna can't receive a sensor's status.

FWI, when I first installed my CM15A, it wouldn't pick up most of my windows' sensors (3,000 sqft home) and it picked them up, it would say they were duplicates. I replaced the (dinky, laughable "antenna") with a real one (TV rabbit ears) and it could reach all of them but one.

thanks,

Frank

It works, make a macro and have the motion sensor the trigger for the transceiver, then the transceiver can put signal on PLC and turn on a light, then the light can be the trigger for something else.......in my case, the camera to activate

Thanks, but I already have that scenario working. My question was targetted at your front door sensor problem that can't reach the CM15A. Again, I had an issue with more than one sensor. My solution for most of them was to replace the antenna on the CM15A, but still can't get to one of them. I thought that's what you were referring to when you said someone had helped you using a transceiver.

Thanks,

Frank
