I'm returning to X10 so please some simple help...
1. Can I use a lamp module wiht a thre way 50,100,200 bulb?
2. When one of my wokrign lamps is plugged inan one, when I pull the module out of the wall socket, the light falshes and remains off. This does not happen forthe one that does not work.

Any help available?

Lamp modules can be used with 3-way (30/70/100 or 50/100/150 Watt) bulbs and they can be dimmed, I've never attempted a 50/100/200.  If you unplug the module, the lamp should go out, as it gets it's power thru the module.  If a lamp module fails, it cannot work, period as it will not receive X10 signals. A failed module's next stop is the trash can.

I've never heard of a "50, 100., 200".  is it a CFL?

I have heard of 50, 100, 150.

It maybe should be pointed out... that a 3 way bulb... actually has 3 stages of filament. So you get the three levels of brightness... or dimness without the normal (heat) waste of a rheostat.

It's a easy task to replace the switch on a lamp... or just use a large watt bulb.. and let X10 do the dimming.
