SS13A / AHP issue
« on: February 20, 2010, 05:45:51 PM »

Just getting started setting up my first X10 system and ran into my first problem:

I put a socket rocket in a lamp, set up the module in AHP and when I click on the module, the switch on the screen flips and the lamp comes on (yay!)  I then set up my SS13A to run the lamp, too.  When I press on/off on the switch, I see the lamp switch on the screen flip, but the light doesn't come on.  If I go back and click on it with the mouse, the lamp works fine again.

One thing I do see in the activity log, using the mouse click I see:
Send Address A1
Send ON (A1)
Send Address A1
Send OFF (A1)

Using the RF Switch I see:
Recv RF A1 On
Recv RF A1 Off

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hardware Configuration
Tranceived House Codes
Make sure A is set to be tranceived. Sometimes the default of Auto doesn't work correctly

Thanks for the quick reply - that fixed it.  In a second related question, I have a macro set up and working, say it has a code of 'A2'  When I press the corresponding SS13A switch, I see the macro button flash, but it doesn't execute.  Can a macro be executed from the switch?

Found the solution - didn't realize I had to explicitly download macros to the transceiver.  Did that and everything works fine.
