It's a topic not discussed often enough.
I see the OP used Code
"C" for Closets... and I've read that many use
"C" for Cameras... (
although I don't myself). I had thought that
"B" would be fitting for Basement. The idea that motion sensors are "Auxiliary devices"... is a new concept for me. And I shy away from using code "A"...
although I do actually use it... I mostly keep it available for testing of
NEW devices.
The A1 Code is the default X10 code.My setup is a product of evolution...
NOT intelligent design. I originally started using the "B" Code because I had read a post that recommended against using the "default "A" Code". Then not knowing if there could be frequency drift... I [skipped "C" and] next used Code "D".
Although I do have a Home Office... it doesn't use the "O" Code. I use the "O" for my
Talking O'Clock Macro.
I was slow to adapt AHP... so by the time I started writting macros... I was just grabbing letters from thin air.
