X10 and PSP

I know that MyHouse Online uses ActiveX and PSP browser doesn't support that, but is there any other way to remote in X10 functions through a PSP?  I can remote desktop with the PSP using VNC but I'd like something faster and more direct.  Something like the Iphone apps?
