Why do my two of my cams only work during the daylight?  direct line of site with video receiver too !! When the sun comes up they start working and the video shows up?  They are about 90 ft from the receiver but what does daylight have to do with receiving the signal??

You mean the reception goes fuzzy or does it just go to a black screen?

It goes to a screen thats black with lines/snow just like when there's no reception. Not a totally black screen but not a screen with fuzzy picture, its forsure not viewable.

Not a totally black screen but ....... for sure not viewable.

Just a guess... but my guess.. would be that you have another device that also operates at the 2.4 GHz range. One that would be turned on in the evening. Maybe a laptop with wireless broadband or even a wireless phone could be doing it. I wonder if the cameras work... after everyone goes to bed.

This wouldn't just be an available light issue would it?
I'd try illuminating something in the line of site of the cam without increasing the light on the actually on the camera.
BVC let's me tell my camera where to go!

Tonight, they are all working?? The usual things are on, laptops, lights, wifi, phone. Cams are on house code D to stay away from the phones and seems to work. I've noticed when there's storms, they don't work very well. But usually if they are working when I go to bed they stop by morning?? Just a ghost or goblin I guess.
