OK, Here's the deal...........

 I need to come up with away for AHP to let me know when this trap is triggered...........

For those of you who don't know, we breed Chinchillas and have close to 70 in the Herd so far. So we bought this "Live Trap" just in case one should get loose (and they do from time to time). The trap makes it so we don't have to run all over the room trying to catch them (they are QUICK) We have a motion sensor set up in there with a Remote Chime when one does get loose. But I want to come up with away for AHP to let me know when one is in the trap.
  I thought about using one of my Window/Door Sensors, would this work? Could I use it without setting the DS7000 off? Just want it to set off AHP. How could I do this and what would I use?

Using a door window sensor with AHP will work! Nice thinking!
You don't need to progam the sensor to the DS7000 just AHP provided you have the On Alert plug-in!
You could then create a macro so when the trap is closed the sensor triggers a sound file alerting every one!

I know this is an older POST, but I could not find any way to create a new POST.
I'm new here as far as how many times I've been here.
But I was hoping to find out how to download the door sensor macro to the AHP (interface).
I also have and dont want to use the security console.
I see a message that says "Macro must be run from the PC".

If you have a macro that uses or initiates a file, like a sound file the macro has to be run from the pc.  Which means that you have to have the cm15 plugged into the computer for it to run its course.  If you have a macro like this it will probably download to the cm15 but it won't run properly without being plugged into the computer because it wouldn't be able to find the file it needs to run.

If your just looking on how to  download your other macros to the cm15 then you need to go to tools and then download timers and macros.  hope this helps.
