CM15A will not control any devices.
« on: August 18, 2009, 08:01:10 PM »

My CM15A will not run any timers that i have downloaded to it. I can control every device from my computer, but when I wait for the timers to activate... nothing. Please help. I can't figure it out.

You're not using a 2-way module in AHP when you should be using a regular module are you?

When I setup everything to start I didn't notice I selected a 2-way lamp module for my main living room lights when in reality the module was an old one that doesn't support the 2-way stuff.

I could control it in AHP or with remote just fine, but none of the timers or macros worked properly.  Once I switched it from a 2-way module to a regular lamp module it started working just fine with the timers.

Hope this helps!

Are any of the modules the soft start lamp or wall switch modules? They act differently than the older ones.

make sure you don`t use extended codes, i`ve already have this kind of problem and when i change to basic codes, it finally works.

to do that: open your activity monitor by pressing F2 and check if you see some phrases containing extended codes sent and the code itself, if you see it, just try to change your modules type (ex: lm14a) for more basic ones like lm15a lamp modules or wls 467 wall switches.

you can also check my post on this forum, it`s the third one of the list, the one named : timers and macros not working by evadorev

hope it will help!!!!
