All caps is also harder to read. The human brain is use to reading when upper case is reserved for the beginning of sentences and proper nouns.

For that matter, bold, large text, or color used in excess is also less effective when over used.

Also too much moving text can be overkill.

While an occasional  or any of the above can be helpful, moderation is best when posting a message.
