Everything works fine and in Run2 mode console chims when a door is opened as it should. At times however the console chimes with no zone triggered.  Console never chims when Armed ,only when not armed.  These false chimes makes one think a door has been opened when in fact it has not been.

Has been? Or is still? The DS10A sensor has a heartbeat signal it sends back to the console every 66 minutes or so. That heartbeat will also reinforce a signal. So... if you have a door open (still open) it will report as open... hence it chimes.

Thanks, that explains it. Yes on sunny mild days we leave the front ,living room door  to the Sun room open for some extra free light.
