Also, please bear in mind that the XTBM frequency measurement isn't as accurate as a frequency counter.  1KHz is the LSB of the frequency measurement, and the number can bounce back and forth between successive readings.  The accuracy should be about +/- 1KHz for a strong signal.

Newer CM15As must have a different case screw. Mine are plain old small Phillips Head; or it could be my Chinese 'Good Feeling' 0x63mm Phillips Head screwdriver matches the screws.  rofl
Though I have noticed that the equipment I worked on from Japan, China and Germany; had slightly different heads; that looked like Philips; but their tools fit better than my tools.

Jeff,

I'm not fine tuning a precision race car to get .1 seconds here.

If getting that unit to 120khz +/- 1 from 130k, will make it talk on the PLC again, I've won the battle and the XTBM moves to having a use as a repair tool as well.   ;D

If not, my junk CM15 still will work for me as I use it to send RF to the others.

Kind of a win-win situation.

(even if I totally destroy it and have to buy a $30 scratch and dent to replace it, I win.  Just don't tell my wife that you guys put me up to this)
