I just installed a 23 Piece security system (DS7000) and installed AHP with all the Expansion packages that come with it including the little white AHP controller box connected to a pc. I configured the system to send me email alerts if the security system has been breached. At this time the system will alert my via text to my phone that a security breach has taken place if the system is ARMED.
Which is the way I want the system to work. Now here's the problem that I am running into. I come home and disarm the system with the keychain remote and the system will disarm from the DS7000 console but AHP will remain ARMED and continue to send me email alerts, unless I disarm the system using the Palmpad control that is installed in a hidden location. AHP reports that it received the keychain's disarm command but the system status still shows a little red house that says "system armed" even though the DS7000 will show system disarmed. I do not currently have the DS7000 hooked up to a phone line due to this house being a cell only home and the no intention of installing home phone service. What can I do to make it so that I can use the keychain's to turn off AHP alert's to my cell phone or add the ability that I can enter the house with a delay and hit the palmpad with out the alert going out.
*** Please note that the Main Entry Door security sensor is set to delay but that is only giving the DS7000 a delay and not AHP.
Also if someone can elaborate as to what Flags do in AHP than that would be great as well.
I do like my configuration as I get more information in the text messages as to what sensor triggered and date and time. So I still prefer running this setup than getting a phone line and getting a voice message only.
Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Rev. Davis
