my Home TheaterI don't think many people have a problem with someone wearing a bathing suit at pool side. After all keeping an eye on the pool area is one use for X10 cameras. That, like a baby monitor.. adds a level of safety and piece of mind. I can sorta understand the animations and a pretty model here and there. Most of X10 products aren't much more than little plastic boxes... and not much to showcase. And after all... models need to earn a living too.
I think for most of us.. the guide we use to judge whats exceptable in a Page is: "what looks like porn". If it isn't something I could look at on a lunch hour at work... then it isn't a Site I would share with family or friends. X10 went way overboard with the "pretty models" a while back. I actually stopped using the term X10 when the Site got... sleazy... and started referring to my "Home Automation".
I fully support X10s new look and attitude towards advertisement. I certainly hope it effects their bottomline in a positive way.
