Timer won't turn light on
« on: March 17, 2010, 09:30:06 PM »

I'm having an issue getting my timers to work.  If I set the on command to either a time or just on at dusk, my lights are being turned on, but they are being turned off by the same timer an 10:20pm (as set).  I'm able to manually turn the lights on though the AHP program, so I know that an on and off command can reach the devices, but for some reason the timer isn't working.  B:(

What version of AHP are you using?  Sounds like it's 3.236 and you are new AHP user.  Let us know.

Are they soft start? This is where the controlled lights ramp on and off and not instantly on and off.

This may give you some help if they are soft start.

I`ve already have that problem. Some modules cannot understand extended codes, the ones ONLY transmitted by the timers in AHP. To fix it just change your modules type for some basic ones like generic lamp or appliance modules.

to see if it transmits extended codes, just check the activity monitor by pressing F2 on AHP a short time after the scheduled time for your timers. if it so, just change your module type until it the extended codes dissapears.

I`ve also know that the day schedules in AHP doesn`t work, just make sure that the option  selected in your timers is daily and not Jan 1 to Jan 1

hope it will help
