Hello everyone,
Is first time that I am using X10 components, I have available a IMX10 and a AD10, but actually I have some troubles.
I don't find the right way to setting the adress and everythings about IMX10. I have read manual, look in internet but nothing that explain me how make configuration or what exactly I need.
I hope find some help here.

Welcome to the forum.
The IMX10 and AD10 are International units so I am going by their manuals.
We have users with those modules and may have better data than I do.

From what I see in the manual you need a X10 Controller that can send an X10 Address alone and then X10 Function Codes alone.
Do you have any X10 compatible controller that can send power line signals?
Then after starting the Programming Mode on the IMX10 you send the proper sequence of codes to program them.

Since this is in the Active Home Pro area. Do you have a CM15 with AHP?

I don't have any X10 compatible controller, only a IMX10 and a AD10. And I don't have also a CM15 with AHP.
I posted in this area but maybe I made mistake I am a begginner with this modules.
I'd like know what I need exactly to send a X10 Address and then X10 Function Codes.

No problem on the area choice.

I will look at some International sites and see what they have.

I was looking around the X10Europe site, marmitek and UK-automation sites and so far have not seen a simple controller that can send the address or function codes separate. As the IMX10 needs. Here in the US we have a maxi-controller that sends addresses and functions individually. I did not see an International version of that.

I will look further as I did see a reference to a programmer {most likely costly} and maybe a remote that could send the needed codes individually and then a transceiver would also be needed.

Is there anyway you could verify from the vendor that the IMX10 has to be programmed with an Address Only signal then a Function Signal only for proper setup?

You can still test it out as the factory default is A1 so the AD10 may work with it as received.

I have had answer from "Euro X10":

'To program the IMX10, Xanura recommends the use of an PMIX (http://www.eurox10.com/Product/ProfessionalX10/DiagnosticoResolucao/PMIX35.htm) or an PUX (http://www.eurox10.com/Product/ProfessionalX10/DiagnosticoResolucao/PUX.htm) interface'

But in the waiting I have found a "MC10E" and just now I am trying to do work.

I will inform you about the result.

I have tried connect the first input of IMX10 to AD10 and using default adress A1, everything work properly.
Then using the MC10E during Program mode of IMX10 I am able to change the adress of the its inputs. And also after that the system work good.

For my job this is enaught.

Glad you got it working.

Also thank you for the information on the unit you used to program the IMX10.
I think the IMX10's manual was not to clear on the way it accepted commands.
