Connection Motion Sensor to Camera
« on: July 26, 2010, 08:56:23 PM »

Hello All

I am new to the x10 wireless cameras however I am sort having a problem with understanding the instruction for setting up the active eye motion sensor with the camera

I have purchased the vanguard software, 3 wireless cameras, 1 screw in lamp socket module and 4 active eye motion sensors. I have been able to go into the software and setup the parameters for the cameras but I am unable to test the motion sensors because I am not understanding something in the instructions.

The instructions I have may be out date, is there an updated instructions for the devices because I can't seem to locate them

your help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Kevin

What module are you using to receive the RF signal from the Motion Sensors?
Maybe you can give us the model numbers of any other modules you have.
A few devices that can receive X10 RF signals would be the CM15A; CM19A; TM751 and RR501. Though there are others.

Brian

I have the TM751 Tranceiver module.

The part numbers of the devices I have are (part number taken off back of each device)

3 x XC10A Xcam2 2.4 Ghz
1 x VR36A Video Receiver
1 x TM751 Transceiver
1 x MS14A Eagle Eye Motion Detector
3 x MS16A Active Eye Motion Sensor
1 x CR12A Remote
1 x VA12A USB Video Converter
1 x LM15A Lamp Socket Module

If i set the motion sensor to A1, then the LM15A work just fine. I believe i was able to set the codes for the cameras however, when I select the camera and motion sensor in the vanguard software, it doesn't seem to be connecting unless I am missing something. but if it is, i can't get the motion sensor to trigger the recording a video.

Just am wondering what is my next step

your help is appreciated.

Regards

Kevin
