Are the WA12A Decorator Dimmer switch the same as the WS12A?
« on: October 13, 2010, 04:52:42 PM »

I have 4 of the WA12A switches. They aren't listed in the lamp module list, just the WS12A. My issue is that they don't respond to a timer. They respond to an on/off by either the computer (via USB) or the RF remote so I know the switches are getting the signal. I've tried all kinds of ways to do the timer but none work (& yes the timer is activated!). This is my second setup. I've had the X10 for a long time with many switches and timers. This is for my next door neighbor. I've compared the setups and they are the same (except for the WA12A). I'm using the Active Home Pro
I forgot to state that I have also switched the black/blue leads as the hose wires are all black. The current condition is the "best".

Try http://www.smarthome.com/2201PH/Decorator-Dimmer-Switch-RWS17-WS12A/p.aspx  It's supposed to be identical and AHP does have it in the Retail section of Modules.

Also what version of AHP are you running?
