hi, hopfully i'm posting in the right forum. i have a htpc with xp operating system. i have a remote control made for nvidia personal cinema(made by x10 part #cs21a receiver and ur88a remote). i'm using the x10 drivers for a usb receiver found on the web site, and everything works fine except i can't get the remote to wake the computer from standby mode. this is basicly a dvr/pvr that i assembled from extra parts i had laying around used primarily to record tv shows. the remote will put the unit in standby but will not recover from standby. i've done exstensive testing and believe it to be driver issue. any help would be appreciated.

I too would love to know how to setup an HTPC?  I am purchasing the remote today!  I think reading the reviews and knowing the buttons are close and it's a brick is minimal compared to the price!

HTPC stands for Home Theatre PC.   You also replied to a year old post who never came back.

Yes I understand what HTPC stands for.  I have mine setup already.  I just purchased the NStinct and wanted to know how to set it up to control my HTPC.  I posted to this thread cuz it's the only one that related to my question.  I don't want to double post subjects.

Can anyone help me set this up?

Do you have the X10 remote drivers?

I'm not sure what all you'll beable to control on a HTPC but it interfaces with most of windows programs.
