Using a "common" wired USB video camera with AHP?
« on: December 18, 2010, 01:00:15 PM »

I have AHP with all the plug-ins.  How can I use a common wired USB video camera that's plugged into my AHP computer?  I have a Kodak DVC 300 Digital Video Camera.  This thing has a USB cable.  I can hook it up to my computer and it makes video (tested with Windows Media Encoder and VLC Media Player).

I just don't see any option to add a non-x10 camera to AHP.  Should they have an option on the menu to "open" a USB camera that's connected to the computer?

I believe the X10 software is written to only work with the older VA11A and newer VA12A video input devices.
