ahp encountered a problem and needs to close

hi can anyone help i have just bought ahp and installed it on my computer and its coming up with ahp has encountered a problem and needs to close ,, i went onto ahp website and downloaded the latest version and it works but asks for a reg code i live in uk and with the one i bought it came with a cd wich i am having trouble with thanks

windows xp home

This topic has been cover in the forum here extensively!
Newbies relay need to learn the search function!
And/Or to read before asking questions!

Since your from the UK I'll let you know the new North American version installed it is going to ask for a serial number (most likely). It also will display different images for your X10 devices the modules that we have over here don't look the same as you have!
 If you still wish to go this route a  Detailed Search will turn up that plug-ins need to be installed before AHP.
Since your version has the SmartMacro plug-in embedded in it  this maybe a issue.
Also If you have the New SDK you'll need to remove files from the program files\commonfiles\x10\common folder
X10 nets will need to be stopped before you can remove that file.
Once that is done then reinstall AHP.

hi tuicmen i tried to remove the coomon folder in x10 floder it say acces denied any ideas please

Use your Windows task manager and stop the X10.nets then remove the files.

thanks very much tuicmen i already done it ,,i went to x10.com downloaded update 204 and run it and then went to marmitek and downloaded the latest version from there and ran it over the american version and it works a treat now once again thanks for your help  regards pete

Yes, it's not good to play with the HA while your wife is home!
It will destroy the WAF and you might find all you x10 gear at the curb!
