http://www.blueirissoftware.com/index.html. I'm just in the market for a good all around package for multi camera, plus my x10 wireless cameras. I have a 4 input video capture usb device. I'll just leave the x10 on channel 2 and use the 3 wired cams on the other 3 inputs.

Does anyone know of some full featured dvr software that allows you to view over the net and send text or email.   Thanks in advance.

In my opinion, you have been playing with the best.  You can view your cameras through a web page, send SMS messages  and/or email on motion detect, mask certain areas of the images to avoid false signals, record video,...etc.

I also use the Blue Iris software and it works very well with X10's VA12, what 4 input video capture are you using with it?

It's an easy cap , pulled 2 off of ebay awhile ago. I can't see all the cameras in blue iris I have x10 wireless on channel 2 and then 3 wired on the other channels. I'll just need to play with it more. It seems to be the one that I'm looking for with all the features.
