Hello,
I've searched around the forums and seen several posts touching on this issue, but I was hoping to get a little more specific help on my situation. I'm upgrading from XP Home to Windows 7, and I'd like to be able to save my AHP modules, settings, macros, etc. Microsoft's upgrade tool doesn't allow for this when moving from XP to 7, so I'm going to have to do a clean install of Windows 7 that will remove all programs and settings, and thus I'll need to re-install AHP.
Is there a recommended procedure for backing up my AHP to allow for an easy reinstall that will preserve/restore my settings? I keep seeing reference to an "AHX" file, but I see no such file in the ActiveHome Pro folder in My Programs. What is this file usually named? I have a 9KB "MyHome" document listed as file type "ActiveHomePro document"...perhaps this is it? If not, what is the name of this critical "backup" file?
In any case, I'd appreciate some guidance on how, if at all, this can be done.
Thanks in advance for your help.
