Turning off Addressable power supply to camera
« on: April 21, 2011, 01:39:28 PM »

I recently setup a camera with tilt and pan all powered by one supply but cannot shut it off.  Is there someway to use the ahp to control it???

The addressable power supplies are power line controlled.

If you only have one. Just send an on and off to the address it is set to.

If you have more than one. Then they work in groups of four.
Same House Code for all of them. Unit codes 1-4,5-8,9-12 and 13-16. Send an On to any in the group the other three go off.

I am new also, but I was able to accomplish this with the Smart Macro plug-ins to AHP.

Thanks for the info. I made up a dummy switch and addressed it the same as the power supply. It worked perfectly.
