I am looking at a wireless security surveillance system to put up in a shared apartment complex parking lot. My question is this: Can other neighbors use this same camera to view the parking lot? How could this be accomplished?
Do they merely need to buy receivers?
Thx for any help....

It could be that simple....
However... good reception isn't always simple. Little things like a short bit of extra distance, even an appliances placement could make reception impossible for some, or even all the users. Placement of the the camera and several receivers so they all work.... would seem potentially problematic to me.

An IP camera... that could be viewed [with a limited number of password/logged users] over the Internet, using computers, laptops, ipads (X10 AirPad), or even smartphones might be simpler.

okay...thank you. I should say that all of the users of this cam would be w/in say 150 ft of the camera....no farther than i would be at least. It is a rather small parking area but access to it is rather long and the cam would be up high and able to look down the hill and on the approach to the area. the parking area itself is about 100ft square if that gives you some idea of the area.

indecently...this cam and associated signal boosters and/or hardware would be mounted to a garage with power inside....
