Receiving temperature and like values
« on: June 18, 2011, 11:38:13 AM »

We have a 15x30 hydroponic greenhouse http://lidderdale.net/hydro and I'm always looking to geek it up a bit more.  My computer controls the 2 pumps for watering.  I'd like to install a TempLinc - except it's been discontinued.  I'd also like to install a PresLink in the bottom of my sump to measure water level - except it's never been made.   So I guess my question is: has anyone done a mod to input a variable voltage, say 0-9 vdc, and send a query request?  Recv 7.27v = 98.6 deg = 18.5 inches deep = gate half open/closed = x% of whatever.

Thanks.

That can be done easily with some other devices. I don't know if you searched for it.

I too wish that there was more X10 equipment to read ADC (Analog to Digital Converter for those who don't know) data.
