Well I'm well into it now. I'm new to this whole world but I have gotten as far as  using some Macros on the AHP. I can get  a lamp  and a chime going when the motion detector is activated. Doesn't seem to have much range. Maybe 20'
Still don't know how the chime is going off but it does when the motion detector (MS14A) is activated.
I want to get to fully use the iWatchMobile and I have downloaded SW31A, SW39A, SW34A, SW33A, SW32A, SW45A, and also have SW44A
which I haven't downloaded yet.
Was wondering if that 20' mentioned in manuels is how far away the Motion Sensor, I guess it's not a detector but rather a sensor, can sense motion or if that  20' is the range it can transmit a signal to the interface.
Any ideas on where I can find more instructions.
It also  looks like there is deffinite due diligence one has to do with this equipt. So far it's pretty incredible.

                                                          Thanks

The CM15A is not known for great RF reception. You will find many posts here on antenna modifications.

The Chime going off with motion sensing. Is most likely. The chime is addressed to the same address the motion sensor is sending. So motion is sensed and the On signal is transceived by the CM15A and sent on the power lines to the chime module.

The X10 wiki has lots of good information in it. here is the main page link:

Thanks for the info. Brian. I just got my locksmith registration from the state but I can see that home security
will the area I will focus on .  I knew there would be a lot of reading to do and now a lot more.
I just keep going through the work. I'll be setting up the house here to use as a demo for talks but I had
better know what I am talking about first and this is a good way to do it.

     Thanks again
