SC9000 security system and phase coupler/repeater
« on: August 12, 2011, 07:23:22 AM »

Hello,
I live in Europe and at our house we have a three phase system. For reliablility reasons I have installed a phase coupler ( that also repeates the signals from one phase to eather of the others.

Three FD10s Filters are also installed (Filter only, no coupling) to keep out external signals of my house.

I use a SC9000 security system. (http://www.marmitek.com/en/product-details/home-automation-security/x-10-security/safeguard.php)

---- so far the facts.
Arming the SC9000 ist sends an A1/A2 ON followed by an A1/A2 OFF for visual notification that arming has been successful.

Due to the repeater it does exactely this now three times in a row. With the result that sometimes the last OFF doesn't come through. Maybe overlayed or even the last ON comes arrives later at the Lamp Module (in wall)

Any Ideas how to use the wonderfull repeater reliablilty and still be able to switch on/off ONCE ?

Sometimes the 6 times ON/OFF even sets the in wall lamp module into programming mode, aber the next cat passing by the motion detector programs the light outside to the motion detector inside :-)
