Helpful tips & Tricks (OnAlertMobile)

I personaly don't use any of the mobile apps but as the posts for this app grow some usefull tips and trick post get buried.
It is my hope that the users will add a post or link to some helpful advice.
Note: this is Just for the OnAlertMobile app

Here's my helpful tip - to get the darn thing working with your Protector Plus console (PS561) you need to put the console in "install" mode, then send a command from OnAlert Mobile (you should hear the pairing chime on the console), then put it back in "run" mode. This was not in the instructions and held me up for a while.

Oh, another helpful tip, for OnAlert Mobile on the iPhone. Since there is no native iPhone app, you can simulate one by going to your OnAlert Mobiel page in Safari on your phone, then click the bookmark button, then select "Add to Home Screen". This not only gives you a cute OnAlert icon on your home screen, it also makes the browser bars not appear when you open it, so it seems almost like a real app.
