Issue with TM751 and AM466 in same room
« on: December 23, 2011, 07:01:28 PM »

Having trouble with my TM751 (A) and AM466 module (A1) in the same room. When I turn one off, the other also turns off and vice versa. However, I have another AM466 module (A2) in a different room that doesn't have this issue. Shouldn't the TM751 ignore the on/off commands if I'm selecting a different device? Seems odd it would only do it with the one AM466 and not the other too.

Thanks in advance.

The TM751 is hard coded to unit one. With the House Code set on the dial.
If you have a House Code of A. The TM751 is set to A1.

Since the Appliance Module is also set to A1. When an A1 On command is sent both will go On. When an A1 Off command is sent both go Off.
If you don't want both to go On and Off together. Get the appliance module a different address as you can't change the TM751 from Unit Code 1.

Big thanks, Brian. (Can you tell I'm new to this? )

Appreciate the quick response. All is good now.
