Best version of AHP
« on: February 21, 2012, 09:15:13 AM »

I was wandering what"s the best version of AHP for Vista Home Premium. I had AHP on my Vista PC before, since 2008, but had to do things to the PC to get it to work. Then lately I put Vanguard on it becuz I couldn't get connected with AHP remotely, and could with vanguard. Then I read peeps using Logmein to view cams(works well), so I removed Vanguard from my PC. Once I did that AHP was screwed up. Uninstalled AHP with problems, tried to reinstall AHP with the new upgraded version. Make a long story short I ended up having to set my PC back to factory becuz it wouldn't start up. So now I'm back to a clean PC and would like AHP back on it. So, what version is there that will work without me going into the PC where I really shouldn't be and changing things. I hear the new version is buggy and 3.313 bugs, 3.228 bugs. How about 3.236 version. I have a VA11A and a VA12A, I'm guessing the VA12A is the 1 I need for Vista. I don't have much hair left so any help would be great. PS Do I need the CM19A if I'm using a CM15A, never did use it b4? :-\

No you do not need a CM19A. The CM15K replacement for the now out of stock CM15A. Is a CM19A with TM751 and not a good equivalent for a real CM15A.

No I don't have any version choices.
I have moved on to a combination Insteon and X10 system. With a Universal Devices ISY99i controller.

There are many AHP users here that will have better data for you. As there maybe a minimum revision for Vista or Windows 7 use.
