I'm Dave, I have an extensive background working with P.C. hardware/software, setting up electronic Devices. Including and not limited to audio/video playback, recording and capturing of various signals. interfacing various units with a P.C.
x10/AH is not by any means new to me but i recently acquired an x10 bundle that has never been used! I have transceiver RR501 some lamp modules, appliance modules, MS13 motion sensors PR511 outdoor security fixtures and a few other items. all the items had been around in a friends garage for at least 10 YRS! (yes all the AAA batteries that came with and were stilled factory sealed were DEAD from sitting for so long! ANYWAYS - I have 2 mods that don't come on when commands are sent to them, could this be a result of "REVERESED PHASE WIRING"? I think it could be from all the info I've gathered on this topic.  -:) I did test 1 of my 120vac outlets and the HOT and NEUTRAL were showing reversed! could this be the problem? lets see what else... I have 3 extra SR227 modules that have never been used. is there anyone outthere who wants to trade for 3 LM 465 modules? Pls let me know! Also can someone get me AH PRO? MANY THANKS, Dave

Not sure what "REVERSED PHASE WIRING" is.

If the two modules that do not work, begin working when you move them to other outlets in the home (try same outlet as the RR501 and use an RF remote to test) then you could have either a "phase coupling problem" or a "noise" problem.

There will be a test at your house tomorrow.

I would get the outlet with the reversed hot and neutral fixed. It is more of a safety issue than an X10 issue. Depending on the age of your home, and whether it was inspected during construction, it is unlikely that all your outlets could be wired wrong.
