How do you upload pictures into your posting?

OK maybe I am missing something.  I am trying to upload a few pictures but am not being successful.  I have gone to this link, http://forums.x10.com/index.php?topic=10516.0 It tells you to use the attach feature under "additional Options"  but the only thing I get under that is "Notify me of replies / Return to this topic / Don't use smileys"  Help!

There are a lot of options that aren't available to users which have a status of newbie.
This is done as a means of stemming spam.
Once your status changes from newbie these options will appear.

That's what I was thinking.  What does it take to move up from newbie?  I did a external antenna mod on a sc1200 and took pictures.  I would like to upload them for everyone to see.  Anyway I can do that or upload it to you?  I am not a spammer, look at my past posts

User ranking is post based
10 good posts gets you out of the newbie class.
If you can post your pics elsewhere and type in the link so the forum doesn't recognize it as a link a Community organizer or I can edit your post fixing the link.

If you are newbie in any forum then first you have to increase post counts in that forum and after some sometime you will become a regular member of that forum then you will be able to post pictures easily.
