XPD13-IW Problems With Active Home
« on: October 05, 2012, 01:08:45 PM »

Hello everyone, I recently added a new generation X10 module to my outside lighting circuit ( XPD13-IW ) I am running the latest release of AH software 3.318, I run a macro that is triggered by an outside motion sensor ( the darkness trigger A2 ) there are 3 of the old lamp type WS467 modules assigned as A2 and the new module XPD13-IW assigned as A6 , A2 triggers the macro and turns on the A2 lights, on command 100%, 10 seconds later A6 is commanded to go to 94% absolute command ,,  I have set A6 the XPD13-IW up as a LM14A 2 way lamp module, 5 minutes later I command the A2 and A6 modules to dim to 53% and 62% with a set absolute command, the old modules work great as they always have, the new XPD13 module turns on at full brightness then dims to 62% after approximately 1 minute, I have tried what was recommended in the post about dimming modules with the same result, any ideas would be appreciated, almost forgot, the software is sending extended commands and I can operate the light with the slider from the layout screen, just seems like this module has a mind of it,s own an reverts to the original dimmed setting after about a minute no matterwhat you do ...

XPDI3 in the X10Pro modules tab didn't work?

AHP 3.318 should not need you to use the LM14A workaround needed in the older versions.
Maybe just calling it a WS12A from the Lamps Tab would work better.
