Jave the DS1200 problems been remedied yet?

I got a pitch for a DS1200 system in my email again, and I thought I would check back in and see if it worked right yet.

I have an old black PS561 dialer (the toy-looking one), and I really would like to replace it with one that didn't look so dated (i.e., white console) to mount on the wall, but I don't want to sign up for a lot of frustration if the DS1200 hasn't been re-engineered so that it has a decent RF range and will work on a landline with an answering machine.

I found the old thread from last winter on the DS1200, but since they are obviously selling the DS1200 again, and I was hoping that was indicative of a product update.

Opinions or people who know?
