SD H.264 - doesn't show up in Wireless LAN configuration

I have successful connected the SD H.264 camera I just received using a wired connection.  I am now trying to set up the wireless operation.  While the camera is still wired, I log in, navigate to the Wireless LAN page and look for the camera to show up - when it doesn't appear, I select SEARCH but it comes back without showing the camera.  Any suggestions?
