Windows 8/IE 10 timeout connecting to camera

I am attempting to connect via win 8 and IE 10 using Active X mode from the internet.  I can get the interface to load but loading the camera will timeout.  Any help would be great.  Also, I  have made all the required changes within the browser settings.

I have the same problem, it's a IE10 problem not Windows 8 basically other browsers work such as Chrome. Don't know if it's a bug in IE10 or the firmware/software in the camera.
