hey guys i was cleaning out my electronics drawer today and found this remote well one like it  http://www.ebay.com/itm/RadioShack-Wireless-Miniature-Remote-Control-NO-61-2618-/230497376932

i have a sc1200a with 2 remotes set . my 16 year old just get her license will this remote work with the sc1200a ? it has a code generation button on the back. i need to get a battery for it just wondering if anyone had got this remote to work.

Not sure if it will work. Many of the older sensors and remotes are fine with the SC1200.
The archived documentation on the RS site does say it was for their Protector Plus Systems {OEM by X10} and how to use the remote to control an X10 device. Through the console.

Since you have it. It maybe worth trying.

If you need one. You may want to search for more recent KeyFobs. The X10 KR10A and KR32A both work with the SC1200. As does the Radio Shack 49-1002 that was part of their 49-1000 Security Kit. That is an older  cousin to the SC1200. The 49-1002 KeyFob has one added feature. It can control both Light Codes in the SC1200 while the X10 ones only do the higher of the two light codes.

ok ill let ya kknow thanks . our unit came with 2 kr32a i have been using my cell and callling it to arm and disarm tillwe can get her a remote. just spent 4700 on her a car and then got ins lol kinda cash poor right now. ill try this remote out and let ya know. thanks for the info.
