There are several manufactures of IP Cameras.
Several of these look exactly like the AirSight models, but do they work like them?
Several users here run Foscam models which distributes a SDK allowing anyone to enable coding their camera view into a web page or other software.
You can test out a samples here:for the Mjpeg Camera (F series) or
for cameras which use a different compression(H series)
Note: Don't add "http://" your IP cam address when testing these links. and don't use your admin account info for viewing

I'm wondering if either of these links will allow users of the Airsights to view their cameras. ???
Can Users test the links and report on which if either link works and which AirSight they tested them with?
I'm sure others besides myself would love to know ;)
If either link works users can use the code for embedding the stream into a webpage.
If neither of these links work for your AirSight Cameras has anyone embedded the stream from an AirSight into a webpage?

Since the camera plug-in for AHP doesn't currently support these it is up to us end users to fill the gap.
Currently Pc Companion uses simple code for the Mjpeg cameras for viewing and control which I intend on expanding on.
Eventually I hope to have a multi view/control  screen  similar to that for the regular X10 camera feeds PCC has now.

I'm also interested in other Manufacturers Cameras that may work with these links.
If you have a different camera and it works with one of the links please let the community and me know!

Reading other posts on the forum I've discovered.
Some users are able to use Foscam SDK code to control their Airsight cameras.
I'm interested in users with the AirSight cameras XX39A/XX59A to see if these cameras work with the H series Foscam web interface
If so I'll add support for these cameras to PCC
Actually you could view and control these now with a bit of work but I plan to make this more user friendly and support up to 10 IP cams.
I'll also be looking for a few users interested in testing PCC with the new AirSight Camera code added.
If interested in beta testing PCC with IP camera support PM me  and mention which AirSights you have.
PCC Tester positions are limited
Testers will receive a free full version of Pc Companion for their troubles.

missrika

i would be interested in the testing.
I have 2 airsight xc36a

Have you tested the foscam web interface links to see which interface works with your cameras?
I have most of the MJPEG code for the F series added but not anything for the H series yet.
I'll add you to the prospective testers list.

Although I have most code set for 12 F series cameras I haven't added code for the H series.
Once I have someone with a camera that is confirmed to use the H series code and willing to test, I'll add that and Testing can begin.
All my cameras use the F series code so this is confirmed to be working.
For users that are curious to what this can do so far I've a post on my forum which I'll update as I add things.
If I don't get anyone that can confirm H series code there will be no testing I'll just release a new version of PCC (without H series code)
