New home Voice Assistant

Looks like there is a new voice assistant coming.
Able to run Siri, Alexa, or Cortana and keeps your data locally not on the cloud.

I saw that yesterday. I expect it will be rather pricey.

I suspect so as well initially.
And with Amazon continuing to offer deals on the Dots and Echos they may be to late to the market.
However I do like so of the rumored options.
In any case here's a link for more info: https://www.androidcentral.com/essential-home.

I checked out the essential home page https://www.essential.com/
If they can keep the Home price competitive like their phone they'll have a winner.
It looks like most automation will be handled locally not using the cloud so looks like they are trying to use the best of both.
I signed up for info on their OS SDK and to be kept up to date on its progress.
