I've got a XPS2 heavy duty switch controlling my pool pump. Well, after nine years it finally went out on me (clicking syndrome), so I took it apart. A small piece of plastic did fall out, not the manual switch thingy, but another plastic component that was probably the source of failure. Anyhow, I can't figure out how the mechanical aspect of this thing works. There is a solenoid, and plastic cam that arms and disarms the contacts, but I am missing something else, and cannot find any "breakdowns" of the switch on the internet.
Does anyone have this type of info? A picture would be worth a thousand words. In the meantime, I'm buying another switch, $$$, but seems like a waste if the switch broke because of a 1 cent piece of plastic that I could repair.
Thanks in advance!
