One moe reason for local control

It is common in 3rd world nations to always leave a family member at home... to protect the house. The concept greatly reduces the family's ability to travel and grow socially.

I hate the idea of adopting 3rd world ideas to protect ourselves.... and limiting our growth and development. Strong doors and windows, good locks, security cameras and alarms protect modern homes. Firewalls, software, and good security practices protect our networks and digital devices.

(Sooner or later) Every person gets sick.... every home needs repairs... and every machine and/or device needs fixed or de-bugged. I accept that life has both ups and downs... and I know avoiding the ups... won't eliminate the downs.

On-line has so very much to offer (like even the link you posted to start this thread). There is no turning back.
