Dusk Dawn Magic???

For the heck of it I decided to try Dusk/ Dawn timer setting for outside lights. 
(This, btw, is after having the WiFi unit since it became available and finding that dusk/dawn would not work - so regular timer settings for now til resolved.)

Low and behold, it worked!  On the dot for my zip code!  Was there a fix? I set it using my iPhone, iOS 11.4.  Hub only updated once to 0.0.23. The app has never been updated as far as I know (Android there was one?).  Ok, can anyone shed some light (get it?!.. ok, bad joke...) on this??

I think DST helped for some and hindered for others. Hang tight, the update is 10 days away.
