HA-bridge Backups
« on: March 27, 2020, 12:57:24 PM »

The Ha-bridge Backup function seems to save the files in the "data" folder. Is there an easy way to save the files on another computer? Or do I just manually copy the files in the "data" folder to my desktop? Do I have to do anything special about Permissions?

If I was starting over with a new setup, do I just copy the files back to the "data" folder, or do I copy the *.bk file to the new "data" folder and let Ha-bridge do the Restore?

This is one thing that bothered me about the bridge backups. I made the suggestion that backups be saved to the device you connected from but it appears that didn't  fully get implemented or the option is hidden. You can move the backups to your PC and back though it has been awhile since doing it. I believe I used filezila to do it but don't  remember if there was a permission thing I had to change.
As far as restoring I'd just use the bak files unless your sure the data file is ok.
