AHP Backup
« on: August 07, 2020, 01:59:15 PM »

Hi guys

I have The AHP and all of the plugins
My concern now is when my PC or hard drive decide's to die I have no backup.

I once read.. Many Years ago.. on how to backup the AHP and plugins so that they could be re loaded to another PC.
Something In my mind tells me I also needed the source codes, but my mind is not as good as it used to be.

Sorry if this has been posted by others.

A how to would be much appreciated

Thanks

I’ve never used AHP but if you want an exact copy of what is on your your current disk check this out. Sounds like exactly what you need. From what I was reading on this forum the authors of AHP had some form of weird association between your hard disk’s volume label and your registered version of AHP. Not a big deal to resolve but I reckon this link would possibly be the best route to go to give you a cloned version of your current disk drive for backup purposes. https://www.acronis.com/en-eu/articles/mirroring-software/

You need the pc drive id as well a file from the programfiles/common files/x10 folder. The thread on AHP_lifejacket will give you more info.
