I am using HG with the integrated Alexa interface (no longer using the separate HA Bridge)

One goal I was hoping to achieve with this was better response time and no longer get the Device Not Responding message (followed by the device working sometimes).

Unfortunately, I'm still getting the Device Not Responding problem.

Anyone else still having this problem?  Has anyone found a solution for this?

  • I don't work for X10, I use it successfuly!

I also still occasionally get that message however my devices still turn on or off.
I notice this more if I've rebooted or HG service restarts and the command was the first asked after a HG service restart.
I believe it is a timeout issue in the code that may need to be increased.

I also get this message and the lights turn on and off as they should.  Has anyone found a way to turn off the message?

If you’re referring to the HG EchoBridge Program I’d suggest starting a fresh post. A lot has changed in the world of Alexa and HG since this post first started. Outline your setup and your symptoms clearly.
