COMMANDS NOT WORKING
« on: July 27, 2024, 09:37:47 PM »

I just install the wifi module after letting it sit on the shelf for several months. Setup was easy and all seemed to be good.

However, commands sent from via the app appear to be going through since as each command is sent , the wifi module yellow LED flashes. But the devices  are not triggering. The wifi module has a steady blue led until a command in the app us sent.

Do commands sent from another controller plugged into the same outlet work?
Is the WM100 plugged directly into a wall outlet and not a surge protected powerstrip or UPS?
Try locating the WM100 near the electrical panel.
Can it control a module plugged into the same outlet?

I moved the wifi hub away from the router and onto another circuit from the one I wanted to control. I can now control all but one I wanted to, which is a wall outlet.. I changed the address of the outlet to the scheme of the devices that work with the wifi but the outlet will still not engage. I'll have to order an outlet

Do you have a coupler/repeater installed?

If you moved the HUB on a different circuit. From the other electronics.
You may have signal suckers on the original circuit or the other circuit you tried is on the opposite phase of the incoming power and maybe on the same phase as the moved HUB.
Before getting a new outlet. It also may not work if you have power line signal issues.
I will also ask do you have a phase coupler or repeater between the two incoming phases of the house?
Great set of troubleshooting Tutorials on Jeff's site you my find helpful
